mix of historical sites and modern tourist attractions where you will
find excellent restaurants and shopping.

Scuba Diving and Snorkeling
The Kona Coast of the Big Island is host to some of
the best diving in the Hawaiian Islands. Here you have
opportunities to see countless turtles and endemic tropical fish species
seen nowhere else in the world. Add to that the opportunity to see

Hawai'i Volcanoes
National Park is truly a unique experience. There are miles of
hiking trails, enough to fill several days of exploring. View lava
flowing into the Pacific ocean, walk through ancient lava tubes and
dense green tropical forests. There are many spectacular views of
the Kilauea crater, the most active volcano in
the world.

World Class Deep-Sea Fishing
The Big Island of Hawaii has some of the best deep
sea fishing in the world. It is world renowned for huge Marlin.

Ironman Triathlon World Championship in Kona
The annual
Ironman Triathlon World Championship is held in Kona every year in
October. The race starts in Kailua-Kona just to the left of Kailua
Pier. The race consists of a 2.4 mile swim in open ocean, followed by a
112 mile bike ride and a 26.2 mile run to complete this rugged course.
